You know, I'm still not used to being aware from home, I don't think. I mean, it feels kind of... weird to be sharing my living space with someone who's not my family. I mean, the other guy who lives here is really weird, but... I thought I would get used to it when I first came here, but...

...Augh, I've got to stop whining on this thing. Let's see, what else is there for me to talk about? Uh, well... Someone's going to have to go shopping for groceries soon. There's not much food left in the kitchen. I'd usually say shopping is a girl thing, but neither one of us here is a girl, so I guess one of us is going to have to cave in and do it.

Aw man... I know I'm not the greatest at school, but shit. I didn't think I'd be falling behind after two weeks of classes. I really wish I was back home right now... At least if I was, I could ask Dad or Granddad if they could help me with this math stuff at all. Maybe, anyway. They've been home less and less... I'm sure if I called home now they'd tell me to get a tutor tutor or something, though, and I really don't want to.

...I shouldn't be sitting here bitching on this thing, anyway. I've still got time to finish this, I'll just do it later...

Aw, man, I'm not ready for school to start yet. I really could have used more than a week to get used to this place. Dammit, Dad, could you have made this decision any more last minute? Shit, this is gonna suck big time. It's not like I've ever done well in school, but I don't normally start the year off like this. Damn, damn... I'm really freaking out here.

Sh... Well, whatever. Freaking out over it won't do me any good now. Guess I'm just gonna have to make do.

...I need to see if there's a way to phone sis from this place, to check on how she's settling in. Man, I don't really have the money to be calling her long distance all the time... Maybe I can send her letters or something instead? I need to figure something out, since I gotta make sure she's doing okay in that new school of hers. She's just a kid, after all. Nobody better be picking on her there...

Uh... Right. So I'm supposed to introduce myself with this Network thing? Uh... my name's Toji Suzuhara. I just got here from Tokyo-3, and I'll be starting 8th grade in the fall. I'm... not really sure what else to say besides that. It's nice to meet you all, I guess?
